THE AIA NEEDS YOU!

Got some time to spare and talents to share? The AIA needs your help to achieve our vision of supporting a thriving and resilient community, helping to improve Anstruther for all. You might like to join the teams that support our regular groups like Dreel Babies and Toddlers, Dreel Crafters or the Dreel Burn Project. You may have a passion to run a music club, afternoon tea dances or literary events – or simply lend a hand at some of our many events and activities, like our popular seasonal coffee mornings, Duck Race and Vintage Day.
Home baking, setting up for events, stewarding, fundraising, keeping the accounts, screening films, distributing posters, community science, gardening and looking after the local environment and dishwashing are just some of the ways our team of volunteers contribute. Just an hour or two of your time every week can make a real difference. And volunteering is a great way of contributing to the life of our community here in Anstruther, meeting people and connecting with old friends. Whether front of house or behind the scenes, you’ll be playing a vital role in our ongoing success.
The AIA supports young people aged 12 – 25 years to gain recognition for their volunteering with the Saltire Awards programme. Please contact us if you would like to find out more about this or, if you are under 18 years of age, fill in our AIA Volunteer Application Form for Young People

To find out more about volunteering opportunities and get involved, please complete the volunteer contact form below, we will then get in touch to meet with you.
