Date: 23rd February 2024
Time: 1:15 pm - 2:30 pm
Location: Dreel Halls
Other Events

Join Gaelic Development Worker, Kirsty Strachan, on a leisurely stroll through Dreelside Woods to explore our Gaelic and Scots connections to the natural environment through language and folklore. This woodland walk is for anyone with an interest in the natural environment, languages and our cultural heritage.

This event is part of Seachdain na Gàidhligh/ World Gaelic Week, 19th – 25th February 2024. While it will be delivered for maximum accessibility, there will be plenty of opportunities for Gaelic usage and some new vocab for Gaelic learners. Join us at Dreel Halls for refreshments directly after the walk.

Free, but spaces are limited so please book in advance here.

Should the weather not permit a walk on the day, the event will relocate to Dreel Halls for a figurative walk instead.
